Bcomp has worked with many sporting goods manufacturers in disciplines as varied as skiing, kayaking, cycling, racing, foiling… At a time when padel is rapidly gaining in popularity, currently being actively played by around 30 million people in over 140 countries around the world, Bcomp is now unveiling the padel racket built with Siux.

The GEA is the first series of rackets to be launched by Siux as an independent company following its separation from Padel Nuestro. The GEA racquet has been designed to be precise, offering a wider optimised spot and increased power, as well as a medium feel that promotes a balanced and controlled game. To achieve this, Siux has incorporated Bcomp’s ampliTex™ flax fabrics into the front and back of the racquet. The natural fibre reinforcements offer high mechanical properties, and therefore high resistance to breakage, while also helping to preserve the environment, as flax fibres are a natural, CO2-neutral raw material. The structure of the flax fibres integrated into the racket also gives it damping properties that reduce vibrations and give better ball control. What’s more, the composite material composition makes the racket lightweight yet durable.

We’re thrilled to collaborate with Siux to help establish bio-based composites as a staple in the padel market” says Patrick Vuagnat, Manager Sports & Lifestyle at Bcomp. “This project highlights how natural fibres can deliver top-tier performance while supporting a more sustainable future for the sport. It’s a powerful example of what’s possible when two like-minded teams come together with a shared commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility.”

As padel continues its rapid rise, we see a unique opportunity, and a responsibility, to lead with purpose,” says Stefano Barbero, Product Director at Siux. “With GEA, we set out to prove that performance and sustainability can go hand in hand. Collaborating with Bcomp, a company that shares our values and vision, allowed us to push boundaries and reimagine what a padel racket can be. Every detail of this racket is designed for players who care about how their gear is made, as much as how it plays. It’s a reflection of our commitment to doing things differently: grounded in nature, driven by precision, and built for the future of the sport.”
