Brazilian Top of Mind of Composites Industry survey has started
The survey that will point out the winners of the Brazilian Top of Mind of Composites Industry 2020 has already begun. The main award in the country´s composites sector, this year’s Top of Mind includes 27 categories, as raw materials, processes and equipment, among other.
The novelty of this edition is the inclusion of the fair winds category, which will reward the company in the composites sector most remembered by members of the Brazilian Wind Energy Association (ABEEólica).
Erika Bernardino Aprá, president of the Latin American Composite Materials Association (ALMACO), entity responsible for organizing the Top of Mind, commented:
“This initiative aims to highlight the importance of wind energy for our market.”
In 2019, wind power generation was responsible for 89% of the consumption of epoxy resin-based composites produced in Brazil.
Through electronic and spontaneous voting, representatives of the composites production chain and final consumers will choose the most remembered companies in each category. On November 9, ALMACO will announce the names of the three most voted and on December 10, at 7 pm, the association will post a video with the list of winners on its social networks and website.
Erika said:
“Due to the pandemic, it will not be possible to hold our traditional trophy delivery ceremony.”
The Top of Mind of Composites Industry 2020 is an action supported by the following companies: CPIC, Fibermaq, Gatron, INEOS Composites, LyondellBasell, Novapol, NovaScott, Owens Corning, Purcom and Texiglass.
