Carbotech Innovative returns to JEC World 2025 with pioneering projects
Building on the success of last year’s event, Carbotech Innovative, part of a network of Italian companies operating in Abruzzo and Piedmont and specialising in advanced composite materials, is proud to announce its participation in JEC World 2025. The company will showcase its innovations in Hall 5, Booth D79, as part of the Made in Italy pavilion coordinated by ICE.
Aligned with its commitment to innovation and sustainability, Carbotech Innovative will present the C.B.I. Project (Carbon Hybrid Back Injected). This state-of-the-art hybrid technology combines thermoforming and injection moulding, delivering a process that enhances efficiency and product quality. Developed in partnership with Plastic Components, the project leverages advanced materials such as Tepex composite sheets, promising to transform the production of automotive components.
A highlight of Carbotech’s cutting-edge offerings is the carbon fibre swingarm manufactured using a water-soluble mandrel, part of the “No Mould Structural Components” (NMSC) initiative. This breakthrough technology enables the creation of lightweight, high-performance structures with complex geometries, enhancing both stability and maneuverability. It represents a significant advancement for high-demand sectors like motorsports.
Another standout innovation debuting at JEC World 2025 is the Patchcarbon Project, a sustainable solution for repurposing advanced composite materials. By reusing Pre-preg waste—carbon fibre pre-impregnated with resin—this project transforms discarded material into high-quality raw components for carbon-based products. With this patented technology, Carbotech Innovative not only reduces waste but also drives a circular economy model. Tests confirm that components made with recycled materials deliver performance on par with traditional products while significantly lowering environmental impact.
