Cato Composites B.V. today announced the successful completion of the integration of the registered W8SVR trademark, product family and associated production equipment. This strategic milestone strengthens Cato’s position as a leading provider of advanced thermoplastic composite manufacturing solutions for OEM customers in strategic markets including aerospace, defence, sports and leisure, mobility and industrial applications.
With the integration now finalised, all W8SVR activities and assets have been fully incorporated into Cato’s operations at its facility in Rheden, The Netherlands. This ensures uninterrupted service for existing W8SVR customers while enhancing Cato’s capabilities through newly added, state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing assets.

Under the W8SVR brand, Cato will now offer a broadened portfolio of tailored thermoplastic composite materials, including customised fabrics, laminates and net‑shape blanks produced from fully impregnated unidirectional tapes. These semi‑finished products complement Cato’s longstanding partnerships with leading material suppliers and reinforce the company’s commitment to delivering high‑performance, lightweight and recyclable solutions to customers pursuing ambitious technical, economic and environmental objectives across multiple high‑end markets.
“The integration of W8SVR marks an important step in our growth strategy,” said Joost van Lindert, Cato’s Managing Director. “By bringing these proven technologies and production resources into Cato Composites we are significantly expanding the range of thermoplastic composite solutions for customers who have a need for manufacturing-at-scale and reliable supply. With tailored thermoplastic composites we are accelerating the adoption of next-generation part designs and production methods.”
“We are excited to move forward as one unified team,” added Hans Miltner, Commercial Director at Cato. “Together – leveraging decades of combined industry experience, alongside unique materials, extensive part-making expertise and state-of-the art manufacturing assets – we are well‑positioned to support customers across industries with differentiated, scalable solutions, and to shape the next era of thermoplastic composite innovation.”
The newly merged organisation will present its broadened product portfolio and enhanced technical capabilities at JEC World, the global composites industry showcase taking place in Paris from March 10 to 12, 2026. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the company’s enhanced offering, see applications across key industries and meet with Cato’s expert team to discuss emerging needs and collaborative opportunities.
Cato Composites will exhibit at JEC World in Hall 5, booth F107.
