China composite industry stand in solidarity against Covid-19
Scheduled at September 2nd-4th, China Composites Expo 2020 will probably be one of the first composite event to be held as planned before the whole world recovered from Covid-19 pandemic.
Such decision is made in light of a comprehensive assessment on current situation in China, as well as the world, in respect to the containment of novel coronavirus.
After months of a most stringent lockdown, when new infected cases only sporadically reported, the normality of business and production of composites companies is gradually resumed throughout China, with tens of them announcing the plan or celebrating the opening of new facilities, hundreds preparing for a refreshed demonstration at CCE 2020 and thousands yearning for new business opportunities in the wake of long stagnation.
Nevertheless, efforts are not made only for their own benefits, but also contributed to the battle against the long-lasting disease, by generous donation, by working day and night to produce facial masks, protective clothing, ventilators and many other medical supplies, by leveraging their specialized strength in support of the construction of hospitals, and by calling for their employees to do social work for local communities.

Addressing the nationwide shortage of protective clothing, Beijing BW Tech-Textile, recalled employees back to exercise uninterrupted production, and managed to supply more than 1,000,000 protective clothing to hospitals across China.
To support the construction of newly-built hospitals in Wuhan, Beixin Resilient Flooring, a subsidiary of CCGC, transported 125,000 m2 antibiosis floorings to the then-epicenter of the pandemic; Hubei Huitian New Materials jointed hands with Wanhua Chemical Group to guarantee the sufficient supply of required adhesives for construction work; medical devices made with composites components from Shanghai Cedar Composites Technology were sent to equip the wards.

International companies including Covestro, Lanxess and many more donated a large quantity of protective goggles, disinfectants and other medical supplies to cities in urgent need.
The whole composite industry stands in solidarity in the fight against Covid-19 and provide substantial help to make it through.

These efforts shall be remembered and it will honor organizers to present them to all the attendees during the opening of China Composites Expo 2020.
Therefore, organizers expect to have a maximum of supports, by sending to them any video, image, text document or any other credible material which can reflect the contributions of companies in composite industry amid the crisis to Bryan Xu, 86-10-68138939, xuk@ccgc.com.cn, by August 10th, 2020.
