Quickstep welcomes General Atomics’ remote piloted aircraft selection

Quickstep, a manufacturer of advanced carbon fibre composites, announced that General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, a specialist of the Team Reaper Australia Consortium, has been selected by the Australian Government to provide the armed remotely piloted aircraft system under Project Air 7003 for the Australian Defence Force (ADF).

Quickstep is a member of this consortium and looks forward to negotiations with General Atomics on substantial composite manufacturing packages.

Quickstep’s portfolio of long-term defence and aerospace contracts includes component manufacturing for the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Program and the C-130J and LM-100J military and commercial transport aircraft. In the last 12 months Quickstep has also secured new business with Boeing Defense and Chemring, further expanding its customer portfolio.
