Redelease expands portfolio with Olin epoxy resins
Traditional Brazilian distributor of chemical products, Redelease expanded its portfolio with the inclusion of epoxy resins manufactured by Olin, North American company that leads the global production of this type of polymer – in 2015, acquired the epoxy business of Dow.
With the arrival of these products on their shelves, Redelease becomes the newest choice of supplier of epoxy resins processed by manufacturers of industrial floors and companies specialized in the production of molds, among others.
Roberto Iacovella, managing partner of Redelease, said:
“In parallel, we have strengthened our presence in the composites industry, since epoxy resins are widely consumed by manufacturers of anticorrosive coatings and pultruded profiles used in chemically complex applications.”
In this case, the formulation of Olin resin distributed by Redelease is based on a highly resistant Novolac epoxy.
“We already have a lot of experience in challenging applications because we have been distributing Derakane ester-vinyl resins from Ashland for over ten years, which are synonymous worldwide with anti-corrosion protection.”
