Safran won the 2022 “Win-Win Cooperation Award” as 2022 Supplier of the Year from COMAC
On March 28, Safran attended the COMAC Supplier Conference 2023 and won the “Win-Win Cooperation Award” as 2022 Supplier of the Year. On behalf of Safran, Rémi Paul, CEO & Country General Delegate-Safran China, received the award on stage. This honor not only speaks volumes about the long-term trust and high recognition of COMAC for Safran, but also embodies the close cooperation and concerted efforts between the two sides.
Entrusted with many work packages for COMAC’s ARJ21 and C919 program, Safran has built a resilient partnership of about 15 years based on mutual trust and win-win cooperation with COMAC. In 2022, Safran’s strong support from product delivery to design optimization, including the delivery of 100th aircraft of ARJ21, C919 certification and delivery to China Eastern Airlines, has been highly recognized by COMAC. Since from 2022, Safran has also fostered in-depth cooperation with COMAC in emerging areas such as nacelle pre-assembly center, heralding a promising future for all-round cooperation.
After fifteen years of solid partnership, Safran is ready to score new heights with COMAC. With the upcoming commercialization of C919, Safran will join hands with COMAC to accomplish this key milestone in the near future and promote mutual trust with our continued support, setting a fine example of partnership in the civil aviation sector.
