Sinochem establishes a Central Research Institute
In order to practice the concept of “Science First” and build a world-class comprehensive chemical enterprise driven by technological innovation, the Chinese state-owned chemical giant Sinochem decided to establish Sinochem Central Research Institute.
Focusing on Sinochem’s core industrial chain and key common technologies, the Central Research Institute has 21 professional research centers, including Sinochem Advanced Materials Research Center, Sinochem Petrochemical Research Center, Sinochem Engineering Plastics Research Center, Sinochem High Performance Fiber Research Center, Sinochem Special Resin Research Center, Sinochem Polymer Additives Research Center, Sinochem Coating Technology Research Center and Sinochem Special Materials Research Center.
The Central Research Institute is a matrix management mechanism that coordinates the R&D directions and R&D resources of the group’s key business areas.
The purpose is to further optimize the allocation of scientific and technological resources and stimulate the innovation potential of scientific research institutes.
