SWORL announce new product for vacuum sealing of reusable silicone bags JEC World 2023
A proprietary new product that is easy to add to existing or new tools for forming vacuum-tight seals between tool flanges and production-friendly.
SWORL sprayapplied, reusable silicone vacuum bags (membranes, foils) is being introduced at JEC World 2023. The product, based on the wellknown V-groove sealing method, can reduce the time required to perfect a vacuum seal and contribute to more efficient manufacturing of high-quality, void-free composite parts built via oven, autoclave and infusion processes.
It is also ideal for creating robust silicone bags with high-integrity vacuum seals on legacy tooling and narrow flanges; the seals meet and exceed aerospace vacuum requirements for leak tests. SWORL reusable silicone vacuum bags are spray-made to net shape, reducing labor time while also improving part quality.
The SWORL bags are lightweight for easy handling and tear-resistant for long-life.
