Composite materials are widely used in the E20 airframe. In order to ensure structural reliability, the composite materials structure and the design strength were verified through full-scale tests.

Tcab Tech says the E20 adopts China’s first five-blade large-size variable pitch rotor system. The rotor blades are made of high-strength composite materials. Tests and other works have verified that the E20 rotor structure meets the design requirements and has high aerodynamic efficiency.

The E20 eVTOL prototype has thus completed all preparatory work before its first flight and is about to start a new stage of flight testing.
