The aircraft uses carbon fiber composite material and is very light. It can take off on hard grassland and gravel road, according to Zhao Tienan, deputy head of LGAA.

Exhibits arrangement starts for 2nd China International Import Expo (CIIE)
The exhibit, Model 195 high speed patrol boat, made by Ferretti Security Division, is a 20-metre-long fast patrol vessel, which will make its first Asia appearance at the expo. Luca Pelosio, chief project engineer of Ferretti, said that with new materials like carbon fiber and titanium, the vessel can safely and effectively conduct various missions, including sea patrol, and maritime search and rescue.

Volvo’s Polestar electric car will take on the world in 2020
The Polestar 1, a two-door gasoline-electric 600 hp hybrid coupe supercar with a carbon fiber body, 90 miles of battery range and a fancy price close to $200,000, is already on sale. The Polestar 2, a fully-electric likely $63,000 sedan with a 300-mile range, is aimed at the premium market in general and the Tesla Model 3 in particular.

Tesla’s US$2 billion China factory said to start production this month amid uncertainty over output targets
The factory is kicking into gear amid the US-China trade war and weakness in China’s auto market. Sales of new energy vehicles contracted for a second month in a row in August, and are likely to grow at a slower pace this year to 1.5 million vehicles, down from a previous forecast of 1.6 million, according to an industry association.
